CLRA welcomes Bonnie Smith as first ever female board chair

On January 1, 2023, Bonnie Smith, Vice President of Human Resources with NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul, will assume the role of Chair of the Board of Construction Labour Relations Alberta. Bonnie brings more than 30 years of executive experience to the boardroom table, and is the first-ever woman to hold this position.

Smith extends her thanks and gratitude to past chair Shawn Campbell. Shawn will be stepping down as chair to pursue new opportunities in 2023.

“On behalf of the CLRA Board, we thank Shawn for his time, dedication and commitment to advancing the interests of Alberta’s essential unionized construction employers. Our association’s credibility is built on doing what’s right for the workers and job creators driving our industry forward. Shawn’s leadership contributed significantly to that reputation.

I’m proud to continue that work by pursuing exemplary member support services and advocacy.”
